~My Nonet Attempt...

My   apology,   this   past    few   days
Feeling alone down  in the dumps
Nowhere  to  go, all  were blank
I'm glad, "time" gives a knock
   And  whispered  me  luck
   Thanks for the glance
  Shows a chance
 (I'm back)
(Now)
*~~O~~O~~* (         )*~~O~~O~~*
( A)
(Bubble)
 Popped in mind
On   top I   climbed
 Days  and  lonely nights
That  couldn't   even  sight
If  it's  someone or somewhere
I know I'm on cloud nine this time
Sign  of  blissful and new hope in mine

~Nonet~

Another inspiration from our very own,

The Princess Passions - Princesa Fiona

This form is what we called "NONET"
With syllables counts of 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 &1
and reverse syllables counts on the second half.
Can be form in standard, reverse and also flip form
to make it an hour figure glass like what I did.

Thank you so much for sharing us another challenging and enjoyable form of poetry!

  1. Today is a "nonetic" day. First Fiona, then MarieHarmony and now you.
You have done an excellent job with this. The form is very shapely. I was going to attempt the hourglass form of nonet as well but I am late! Nevermind, I am very happy to see you try this poetry. Splendid it really is. I can vividly see your thoughts. Just like an hourglass, the negative thoughts disappaered in the first half and positive approach filled the other part. I can clearly imagine the movement of sand falling in a wordly fashion. What more can I say? You are I*N*C*R*E*D*I*B*L*E!

Now to comment on the contents of the poem ~ you managed to weave a heartfelt picture of the last two days of your life and end it on a positive note! I'm SO impressed and the image is gorgeous! Congratulations! I really enjoyed every aspect of this one!

Thanks so much for your participation, sweetheart!
